The June 3rd Update for Overwatch has led to a few balance changes to operatives, including an increase to Baptiste’s Exo-Boots charge time. The damage you do with hitscan weapons now scales to 30% of your falloff range instead of the previous 50%, which is meant to make hitscan weapons a little less powerful at extended ranges. Overwatch’s July update has changed how hitscan works for several operatives including Ashe, Widowmaker, Wrecking Ball, Baptiste, and more. As always, Summer Games items from prior years are also available. New playlists include Lucioball Remix and there are plenty of new skins to collect, including Mermaid Symmetra, Poolside Ashe, and Sprinkles Mei. Overwatch’s most recent update came out on July 20th and it kicked off the game’s Summer Games 2021 event. You can now individually select which chats you want to see, allowing you to toggle between group chat, team chat, general chat, and match chat. The most recent significant update for Overwatch was the update on August 11, and it featured new text chat options. There have also been some changes to how certain heroes look, including Brigitte’s hair, but those are simply technical fixes.

The September 28 Update for Overwatch brought some major changes including the addition of the Malevento map for free for all, set in a cursed Italian town. For example, the patch ensured that players will always receive full credit over the course of a Junkenstein’s Revenge match and also fixed D.Va’s Black Cat skin. The last patch for Overwatch was released on October 26th, and it mainly consisted of bug fixes and other adjustments to gameplay.

This challenge was started to celebrate the launch of the new “Code of Violence” short story by Brandon Easton. The most recent update to Overwatch was released on February 22, and it featured the launch of the Reaper’s Code of Violence Challenge. There are also new challenges to play to earn skins, sprays, and emotes. Blizzard has brought back some of the best Overwatch skins with new color variations.
